Did you shower today?

When my husband asked if I had showered that day and the answer was “no” I felt so much shame that I started to spiral into negative self talk. But when I found out why he was really asking, it highlighted for me how hard I can be on myself. Here are a few things I’ve learned to help me deal with shame and that little nagging voice that tells us we’re not good enough.

Why Your Marriage Needs to Be A Priority

The dependency children have can pull at you to make it the priority, the most important thing, but in reality, it needs to be less important. Not at the bottom of the priority pile (those kids gotta eat), but just slightly less important than another relationship: the relationship with your spouse.

People often talk about needing to make marriage important now because someday it will be just you and your spouse and you’ll be strangers to each other. While this may be true, marriage needs to be important now because it can impact your family now.

What is Postpartum Anxiety?

At least 15% of new moms deal with postpartum anxiety (PPA). This is more severe than the typical new mom worry and will likely need professional help. But there is hope! PPA is very treatable. I'd love to help you overcome this and get back to enjoying your baby.  Call me at 720-460-1240 for a free 15 minute phone consultation.
